Ovenden Allworks were contacted by a local Timber construction firm, Norton Timber of Shepherdswell, they had a requirement for the installation of foundations, internal drainage and floor slabs to facilitate the construction of a new oak framed Georgian house.

Within a period of a week the 1.5metre deep footings were excavated and filled with concrete. The drainage was installed to take the future foul and storm water. A perimeter block was laid on the foundations to act as a permanent shutter. Internal areas were dug out, filled with stone, compacted and trimmed, following this reinforcement was installed and concrete poured via the use of a concrete pump.
