Granville Road Ltd. of St Margaret’s bay, Dover tasked Ovenden Allworks to provide and implement a solution to the continuing surface water flooding of Granville Road.

From the existing, unserviceable, gullies we installed new pipework across the carriageway that fed two new soakaway units to collect and drain away the excess surface water. The additional 4,500 litres of capacity has successfully dealt with the flooding problem and has allowed the roadway to be clear in all types of weather.

Special consideration was required to avoid the services in this private road, therefore a radar survey was undertaken to ensure we did not disturb any live services.
