BETTESHANGER AMPHITHEATRE

Ovenden Allworks have completed the construction of UK's largest new amphitheatre in the Betteshanger Country Park in Kent.

The three-acre grass amphiteatre and event space, representing a £70,000 investment, will have a capacity of up to 3,000 people. It will be used for open air theatre, cinema, market days and special events.

It was built using imported and site won material to following the initial 6000 m3 cut and fill of the area to make up the 12,000 m2 amphitheartre.

The construction took 4 weeks and has now been grass seeded in preparation of future events at the Park.
